A recent customer selling a home in Easton, CT, says the home inspection found radon above the acceptable limit, and that Erin Napoletano, the owner, got it resolved quickly enough that they passed the follow-up radon test before the purchase was completed. That customer also says she did not overcharge. A recent customer with a 120-year-old house says the basement's challenges were not a problem for Erin during a radon installation and testing. The inspection side of the business shows up in specific jobs. A 2023 customer wrote that Erin did a full home inspection and a radon test and used a drone to check roof areas they could not access. A 2024 reviewer buying a condo for the first time said Erin had them join her during the inspection and provided detailed reports afterward. A 2022 customer said Erin crawled into dark spaces, went up ladders and onto the roof, and included a radon test for a very reasonable rate. Radon mitigation is the other half. A 2024 customer said Erin saved their home closing after three other attempts with different radon fans had failed, and that she and her team came out on a Sunday to get started. A 2023 customer said Erin hid the exterior vent pipe behind a rhododendron and that the system brought their levels down to 1.3. A 2024 customer said Erin came out within hours and the system was installed within a couple days. In 2025, a customer gave one star, saying an email promised after the initial call back never came and a later phone call was not returned. Connecticut lists its home inspector licence, HOI.0000859, as active, held by Erin M Napoletano.
We recently sold our home in Easton, CT, and during the home inspection, the radon level was found to be above the acceptable limit. Because the home sale was dependent on resolving the issue quickly, we contacted Absolute Radon & Home Inspection LLC for help. Erin Napoletano, the owner, was exceptional from the very beginning. She was quick, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Erin communicated with me throughout the entire process and reassured me that the issue could be resolved quickly—which it was. What impressed me most was Erin’s commitment to doing the right thing for her customers. She did not overcharge me and genuinely wanted to help resolve the problem rather than simply maximize the cost of the work. Most importantly, the radon issue was successfully resolved, and we passed our follow-up radon test before the home purchase was completed. This gave our buyer confidence that the home was safe and the radon level was within an acceptable range. I highly recommend Absolute Radon & Home Inspection LLC to anyone looking for professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and honest radon services. Erin provided outstanding service, and I truly appreciate her help in getting this resolved so quickly.
Owner Erin Napoletano was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We live in a 120 year old house, so our basement has its challenges, but those were not a problem for Erin’s successful approaches throughout the process. We highly recommend this exceptional company, but most importantly, Erin, who exhibited complete control of this radon installation and testing.
Wow, we cannot say enough good things about Erin. She is quick to respond, easy to set up times, and extremely fair rates. Erin not only inspected, she took the time to explain to us new home owners. Gave tips and tricks to help save money and the longevity of appliances. If you are looking for an inspector, Erin is then one for you.
Before I had my home inspection I never knew what radon was, but when I got my results they came in over the recommended level set by the EPA. I had hired a different company who came out and did the radon mitigation system, but recently noticed my readings have been increasing. After learning about radon I was really worried considering everything I read about online. I decided to get a second opinion from a certified radon inspector (CT.gov has a list) and that is how I found Erin. I texted Erin and she got back to me right away. I gave her a call and she provided so much information about radon I didn't read about online. She explained how it is common to see spikes around this time of year and also had me send her pictures of my mitigation system so she could make sure it looked out (I had concerns about the sealing job). She spent 40 minutes on the phone with me, answering all of my questions and reassuring me that my levels, although slightly elevated from the summer were still okay and not a cause for concern. She gave me tips and guidance that really put me at ease and calmed my anxiety. She is knowledgeable, helpful, kind and I wish I had found her from the start. I highly recommend her and am very grateful for everything she has done for me.
I've been recommending Erin to clients for years, for Radon and Inspections, everyone was pleased, even when the house wasn't up to snuff and, of course, she disclosed. As I told her, Erin puts the feminine touch to home inspections.
