My recent experience with Advanced Custom Decks is perhaps the single most positive experience I have ever had with work or repairs on my house. I asked them to expand my existing deck and create a shelter for my car underneath. Everyone from the owner of the company to the crew on the ground went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the process and the result. In fact, they finished my new deck and car shelter in a fraction of the time I expected, they did it with great skill and professionalism, and it is wonderful, the cat’s pajamas, surpassing all my expectations. My site was tricky, a sloping lot with lots of rocks and boulders underground. Especially in the beginning, it was hard physical work for the crew. I cannot tell you how impressed I was by their good-natured approach to this and their outstanding work ethic throughout. As things progressed, I observed their mastery of the craft as well. Things that looked difficult and complicated to me were routine for them, done quickly and done well. Truly impressive. I really appreciated the communication aspect of working with Advanced Custom Decks. I was never left guessing about if/when someone would show up, what to expect, etc. The administrative side of things was very well organized and an easy-to-use online system streamlined all the paperwork with quotes, approvals, payments, etc. I liked this a lot. It also meant a lot to me that every member of the team without exception was courteous and considerate to an old guy like me, one not very knowledgeable about how things get built but with a project that was very important to him. A big shout out to Seth, Lori, Jay, Elijah, and Joe. (Zair and John, the same goes for you.) It was a real pleasure crossing paths with each of you.
Seth and his team were great to work with. Seth personally came to our home and inspected our previous deck, went over all of our options and then provided us with an itemized breakdown for the new deck proposal. He even included optional add-ons in the estimate. The deck itself came out beautiful. I would highly recommend hiring Advanced Custom Decks!
Very happy with our new deck/balcony installed by the folks at Advanced Custom Carpentry. High marks every step of the way from the initial consult, design, scheduling and workmanship. Many thanks to Seth, Lori and the crew!
My deck was failing and we could not even walk on it. I had several companies come to look at the deck as it needed to be taken down and a new built. Advanced Custom Decks was the last company who came and I am so glad I went with Seth. I wanted to make the deck smaller and try to be cost efficient. I was able to get Trex and it looks amazing. It was exactly what my vision was as for new deck. The process and commutation was easy. My husband works some night shifts and he was able to work around that schedule which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is needed a new deck!!!
Im very happy with my deck . Massive improvement to my house. Seth helped me to decide on materials and design . End product exceeded my expectations. Guys worked rain or shine and finished project really quick . Would highly recommend.
