Advanced Renovations Inc is a remodeling contractor working out of Galena, Ohio. Houzz, BuildZoom and the Better Business Bureau all describe the same shape of business: general contracting and home remodeling — kitchens, bathrooms, whole-house renovations and additions. Its own site, aribuilding.com, also shows a custom home build. That puts it in the one-contractor-runs-the-whole-job category rather than the single-trade one: a single contract covering demolition, framing, the subcontracted trades and the finish work. If you are planning an addition or a gut remodel, ask for the licence and insurance certificates, a written scope with the allowances spelled out line by line, and the addresses of two recent projects you can go and look at before you sign.
