Alex was a godsent! The company that had installed my 24 panel array had gone out of business, and unbeknownst to me due to a flurry of family difficulties, I had no idea that my solar panels were not working until talking to Mass CEC. It was through contacting many installers, who all told me they no longer serviced solar installations... What kind of nonsense is that?... One of those installers, Kevin from intelligent solar, referred me to his two electrician/ troubleshooters and happily Alex - one of those two -reached out. His prices were extremely reasonable for the expertise that he brings to the job. He diagnosed the problem - the solar inverter have been fried by water in the box and no drain holes -then contacted the solar inverter manufacturer. Because it was still under the warranty, they sent a brand new one gratis and Alex came, installed it, And then proceeded to spend about an hour getting through to the manufacturers Tech help site and got my panels once again hooked up to the grid! Alex is extremely competent, knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and patient. His response to my request for an annual diagnosis of the panels, inverter and hookups to make sure everything continues to work well was that he didn't think it would be necessary but if it made me feel better, he would be happy to send a calendar invite for an annual diagnosis. Definitely doing that! Bonus points - while he was on the roof checking out the panels, I asked him if he would review the roofing as he does that work as well... I had been told by several people who had some possible skin in the game that the roof look like it needed be redone. Alex reported that it's got at least 10 if not 15 years to go however the stink pipe from my bathroom did not come up over the rooftop and was causing some leakage in my attic. Over the last couple of weeks when there have been these huge storms the smell in one part of my house - right under where the stink pipe and the leak would be occurring - smelled horrible. I reported it to my plumber and so Alex is responsible for yet another one of my household problems being resolved. I couldn't be more pleased!.

I was extremely pleased and impressed with my experience with Alex. I have an ongoing problem with solar panel company; getting nowhere with them. I connected with Alex, he responded to me the next day, came to house, surveyed roof and solar panels. Gave me some much needed advice and suggestions/ options. There was no high pressure, just honest suggestions. I was very impressed with his knowledge, expertise and professionalism

Al and Jon were brought in by my solar company for a job installing 34 solar panels. They communicated well though the whole process and took time to explain each step of the installation. Their work was top quality and they were completely professional. Highly recommended!

In the Fall of 2022, we noticed several leaks in our roof. After getting our home insurance involved, it turned out that those leaks were related to our solar panel installation. The original installer being now defunct we contacted several Solar companies in Massachusetts for help and AI & J Services were recommended to us by SGE Group, a well known Solar installer in Massachusetts. Jonathan and Alex (the founders of AI & J Services) came to see the site shortly after we called them and provided us with a fair cost estimate to remove and reinstall the panels so that the roof could be replaced. They worked closely with our roofer and went above and beyond to remove and reinstall the solar panels over weekends and late nights so that our energy production would be minimally disrupted. They also replaced some non-functioning components from the original installation and corrected many mistakes (and code violations) the original installer made. Alex and Jonathan are very hard working and will go above and beyond to put their names on only the best of solar panel installations. We highly recommend them and would be happy to serve as reference for their work.
