Albrite Carpet & Flooring

Albrite Carpets, Inc. — doing business as Albrite Carpet & Flooring — is a Lawrence flooring company that the Better Business Bureau says has been running since 1931, a 95-year history under president George F. Abdinoor. It's a small operation, seven employees, holding an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, though it is not BBB-accredited. The work covers carpet and area rug sales and installation, hardwood, tile and stone, and laminate flooring, plus both at-home and in-plant carpet cleaning — a broader menu than a typical single-material flooring shop. Anyone considering a larger flooring job should ask directly about current lead times and get a written estimate, the same as with any flooring contractor — a company with this kind of multi-decade history is worth a look for anything from a single room to a whole-house carpet or hardwood job.
