A homeowner in 2019 had a small roof stripped and replaced in four hours. Another, writing in 2018, delayed the start because they were out of town, and the crew hit the rescheduled date and finished in a day as promised. Speed on roofs — with the driveway swept afterwards — is what people who hired All Matters wrote about most, across accounts running from 2017 through the early 2020s.
The company works out of North Reading and lists Medford as its other base, presenting itself as a Massachusetts general contractor doing remodeling and construction. Its Better Business Bureau page is accredited with an A+ grade and carries a broad menu — roofing, siding, decks, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodeling and solar — plus a second location in Celebration, Florida. Two Massachusetts licence numbers appear on that BBB page: a home improvement contractor registration (#204089) expiring in January 2028 and a construction supervisor licence (#CS-105185) expiring in July 2027. Those are the bureau's listings rather than checks we made.
The sales side gets named as often as the crews. Reviewers from 2018 describe Tiago and Webstter quoting jobs and Gustavo running the installation; a 2020 customer who had retractable porch screens fitted said Steve explained the options and the crew was gone by lunchtime. A 2020 reviewer liked that the screens could be made to a custom size rather than a stock one.
Two accounts point at the seams in bigger jobs. A customer writing in 2020 described a disconnect between the roofers and the carpenter, and said contract items had to be chased and reminded about. In 2022, a roofing customer who was otherwise happy said shingle deliveries ran more than 25% past what the job needed, even allowing for the usual waste factor. A 2017 reviewer noted that weather split their job across two crews with a different lead the second time.
Most of the written history is dated — twenty of the twenty-three accounts are more than five years old, with the most recent, in June 2026, reporting a job done well and within budget. For a straightforward roof replacement this is a reasonable call; if your job mixes trades, name one person responsible for the schedule and confirm the material quantities in the contract.
They put a new roof on our house. They were efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up after completion. My only issue was the amount of shingles delivered to our house, even after the normal amount considered as a waste factor on the job was over 25% more than needed. They used 71 bundles to complete the job but had 94 bundles delivered. Then, they stated that we were never charged for 94 bundles. This made no sense to me. So, although they did a great job, I would recommend that any future customer get a detailed quote to include the amount of materials needed. Shame on me for not getting that when we got the quote. That was the only issue and the fact that the explanation received from them made no sense and was not very polite to me as the customer.
