Verified record
All Things Flooring is a Walpole contractor that installs and refinishes carpet, hardwood, tile and laminate flooring for homeowners in the area. Its written record is thin and old — five reviews, all from 2009, split sharply. In a 2009 review, a customer said Stewart Sullivan took a deposit, then stopped taking calls and no-showed two scheduled appointments, and hung up once he was identified on the phone; the same year, another customer wrote that a promised carpet installation was never done and a deposit was never returned. Three other 2009 reviews describe the opposite experience: one customer called the wood-floor refinishing prompt and courteous, another said the carpet installation was efficient and fairly priced despite a slight scheduling delay, and a third simply called the work quick and well done. There's nothing on file from the sixteen years since, so there's no way to know which experience reflects how the business operates now. Given what those older reviews describe, anyone considering this company should get firm dates in writing and think carefully about how much of a deposit to put down before work starts.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from All Things Flooring. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

After making a substantial deposit, Stewart Sullivan did not perform any service as promised, did not install my carpet as agreed, and has not returned my deposit after several requests.
Signed Stewart's contract on 3/5/09 and gave him a %50 deposit then he stopped taking my calls. He no-called no-showed on two scheduled appointments. The only call he did answer from me after I paid him was when I called from another phone; he was surprised and made a lame excuse that his phone was broken. Later I used another phone and he picked up then when I identified myself he HUNG UP. Run from these guys they are thieves. I'm in the process of submitting my case to small claims court and the contractor licensing board. This has been a nightmare experience and pushed my project back by a month. DO NOT USE THEM!!!
Good guy..slight delay and confusion on installation date but overall pleased with carpet installation, service and price.
Excellent work, done quickly and efficiently.
Very courteous and prompt. Refinished all the wood floors in our condo.
