A homeowner with one very old, leaking bathroom wrote in December 2023 that Marc Silva had a list of upgrade ideas within five or ten minutes of walking in. That is the shape of Allied Group: a Watertown general contractor whose customers deal with Silva directly and then meet the crew — George, Nestor, Jorge and Alex all get named in reviews — while its Angi page self-reports 32 years of experience, Spanish spoken, emergency service and free estimates. Bathrooms recur more than any other job: six of the 25 reviews describe one. In a June 2023 review, a customer had a total renovation with a tub-to-walk-in-shower conversion that pulled in carpentry, plumbing, tile and electrical, and credited the team approach for getting each trade there when it was needed. A May 2024 homeowner paired a bathroom remodel with interior painting and said Silva stayed on top of questions and project status; a June 2024 customer credited him with listening to their vision and offering cost-saving options. The other half of the work is repair and carpentry. In June 2026 a customer had George and Nestor fix a run of things — deck repair, a closet door, siding — and found it easy to schedule. A June 2024 review describes front steps refurbished and railings and risers replaced and painted. A February 2024 job began as tiling and grew when rotted subfloor turned up under the old tile, so the bad flooring came out first. An April 2022 reviewer who owns a two-family in Worcester had it redone floor to ceiling: failing wires and water lines replaced, a new HVAC system, a new deck, every bathroom remodeled. Another client had a basement finished in April 2024. Price comes up often, and in their favor. A 2022 reviewer who spent 20 years in the trades said he had been collecting quotes for five years and Allied's was the only one that came in spot on. In a July 2021 review, another homeowner got an estimate on a Saturday and had the painting finished by Wednesday, at a quote they found more competitive than the others they received. The one review that is not a straight compliment is an April 2026 amendment: that customer had issues left unsettled, Allied reached out, and they were resolved quickly; the bathroom, they wrote, turned out beautifully. So if something is off, say so — that is how it got fixed. Worth asking too which parts of your job Silva's own crew handles and which trades he brings in, since customers describe both.
