ALP Home Services

ALP Home Services, run by Allan, is a one-crew operation that shows up across a long list of towns — Concord, Milton, Winchester, Weston, Natick, Dedham, Newton, Needham, Arlington, Cambridge — doing whatever the house needs: painting, carpentry, tile and flooring, handyman repairs, even welding a railing back together. The written record is almost entirely five-star and skews recent — 43 of the 46 reviews on file landed in the last six months. The specifics repeat across dozens of short reviews: fair, upfront pricing, on-time arrivals, and clean work. A recent review described re-trimming a rotting doorway "professionally, quickly, and at a reasonable price"; another had ALP swap out an entire deck. One customer, helping a neighbor after a tree limb snapped an outdoor stair railing, researched a few companies before choosing ALP — Allan was upfront about scope and cost from the first meeting, and the job was done that same day. Another review described a rusted wrought-iron railing replaced with a new one in a single afternoon, at the quoted price. Several reviewers say they've hired Allan more than once, or plan to. ALP's own website lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number, though it hasn't been verified against the state registry. For a mix of painting, trim, tile, and small handyman fixes handled by one crew, this is a well-reviewed local option — worth confirming the registration status directly for a larger project.
