Alves Electric is a Maynard-based electrician run by Jonathan Alves, offering outlet and switch installation along with EV charger work. The one review on file, from March 2025, describes recessed lighting installed throughout a home, a few fixtures hung, and outlets replaced — work the customer called thorough, with pricing they described as great for the scope of the job. There isn't much of a track record beyond that one account yet, so it's worth asking a few questions before booking — how soon they can start, and for a couple of references from other jobs — since the visible history here is a single, favorable review.
Jonathan was great to work with and is very thorough. He put recessed lights in all the rooms in our house and also hung a few light fixtures. He replaced outlets as well. Pricing was great for all the work he did. Highly recommend

Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
