Anchor Construction Co.

Anchor Construction Co. is a fully licensed and insured general contractor based in Scituate, Massachusetts, taking on residential and commercial projects that range from additions and remodels to decks, siding, windows, custom built-ins, and commercial buildouts. The company is run by Steve Hassett, who is a licensed professional civil engineer, holds an unrestricted construction supervisor license, and is also a licensed realtor. In a 2024 Google review, a homeowner described Steve and a partner, Pat, finishing a pre-fab garage shell, calling the pair extremely meticulous and skillful, quick to offer useful suggestions, and reliable about keeping to the timelines and expectations they set. The reviewer noted Steve's background as a civil engineer and Pat's background as a furniture maker, and said the two worked well together as a team. Anchor Construction is a fit for homeowners with an addition, remodel, or built-in project who want a small, hands-on team led by a licensed engineer rather than a large crew — worth confirming current availability and getting a written scope for a project of your size before booking.
