A 2021 review describes Anchor removing vibration dampener cloth tape on a furnace/air conditioner connector that was suspected to be asbestos. In that 2021 account, the owner, Eric Oakley, checked the upstairs vents for asbestos in the ductwork seams while quoting, obtained the permit, sealed off the basement with poly and negative air pressure machines, and removed the entire furnace and ductwork.
