Andersen General Contractor

Andersen General Contractor works out of Everett, handling the kind of full-house work a homeowner calls a general contractor for — kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, outdoor living spaces, and general repairs across the Boston area, including Chelsea, Malden, Revere and Somerville. On Thumbtack, the specific jobs booked are bathroom work: full bathroom remodels, new-bathroom builds, tile and cabinet installs. Two Thumbtack reviews from spring 2026 both landed five stars, with customers calling the crew responsible and praising the finished work; an Angi review echoes the same note, describing them as hard-working. Angi's own listing shows a 5.0 rating from eight reviews, and Thumbtack's profile carries a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license — Thumbtack marks it verified, though that hasn't been checked against the state registry directly. The company's site also claims a BBB A+ rating, which is its own claim rather than something confirmed here. One thing worth sorting out before booking: how long they've been operating is inconsistent across sources — the company's own site says 20 years, Angi's listing says in business since 2009 (about 17 years), and Thumbtack's profile says 8 years. Any of the three could be accurate for a different milestone (a license, this LLC, this Thumbtack account), so it's worth asking directly. For a bathroom remodel or a general repair job in the Everett/Boston area, the early reviews are positive and consistent, though the written record is still short — worth a call to confirm current licensing and get a couple of references before signing anything.
