Andover Pest Control is a North Andover shop built around one thing: getting someone out fast, whether it's a wasp nest in the garage or a raccoon tearing at the roof overnight. The reviews return again and again to speed — technicians arriving within 15 minutes to an hour of the first call — and to how much they'll take on: ants, ticks and mosquitoes, mice and rats, and the wildlife calls a lot of exterminators skip, like raccoons, skunks, squirrels and bats. That reputation runs deep. The company has 147 reviews on file since 2021 across four platforms, and it isn't a one-and-done business — several customers describe using it for years, one saying in a 2025 review that they've relied on it for about 15 years for whatever comes up. Mike, the name that shows up review after review, gets credit in an April 2026 review for clearing a family of squirrels out of an attic, and a December 2025 review describes him keeping up an ongoing text dialogue on a rodent problem until it was fully resolved. A November 2025 review credits him with catching a bat that had gotten into an attic and repairing the roof entry point. Technicians named Ryan and John show up in reviews from 2025 and 2026 doing the same hands-on, explain-it-as-you-go work. It isn't the cheapest call. In a November 2025 review, a customer in the trades called a $600 charge for an hour of work "a joke," and an October 2025 review flagged a steep price for a weekend yellowjacket treatment that didn't fully clear the nest on the first visit. A small number of reviews also describe a technician who was rude or dismissive — one from July 2026 describes erratic driving and a condescending phone call, and a January 2026 review describes a worker who belittled a customer over what they said was an unfinished job. A September 2025 review says a woodchuck removal was never completed as hired. These are outliers against a mostly positive record, but worth asking about. For a wildlife or wasp emergency where speed matters more than shopping around, this is a company people keep calling back — some for over a decade. Get a firm price before the truck rolls, especially for anything beyond a straightforward spray.
One of the techs was driving erratically and almost hit me and another vehicle. When I called to inform the company, the person on the phone was very dismissive and condescending. I wouldn't bother doing business with this company if this is the way they treat people.
Everything was done thoroughly with care taken around our plantings. And the team was respectful and cheerful through a brutally hot morning! We couldn’t have asked for better or more thorough service. I will highly recommend to anyone with termite concerns.
Excellent, professional service, even came out same day to address a wasp problem
Somewhat a ninja, Andover Pest Control followed up on the treatments they provided to rid a squirrel from our basement.
Such a great company!
