Catseye Pest Control's Tewksbury location has racked up 400 Google ratings averaging 4.7 stars, built over a review history running back to 2022. People call them in for the recurring stuff — mouse and rat control, seasonal wasp and hornet nest removal, and Cat-Guard exclusion work that seals up the gaps wildlife use to get inside — more than a one-time bug spray. The reviews that keep showing up describe technicians who explain what they're doing rather than just spraying and leaving — Alan, Eric, Paul and Matt get named again and again for walking homeowners through an inspection and answering questions patiently. In the last few months, one customer had a tech work through seven bait boxes and report back on activity levels, another had Paul clear an attic and spray the perimeter, and a third got a Cat-Guard exclusion system installed despite snowy conditions and came away praising the crew's effectiveness and customer service. The one sour note recently is a one-star review alleging Catseye billed for visits where a technician showed up, walked the property, and did no actual work — a serious charge on its own. It isn't an isolated theme: across the longer review history, a handful of customers describe being billed after cancelling service, waiting weeks for a promised follow-up seal-up while a rodent problem got worse, or feeling that the paid yearly inspections that come with an exclusion contract were inconsistently kept. For a single inspection, an active infestation, or a nest that needs to go this week, the reviews point to a company that shows up, explains the work, and gets it done. If you're signing up for a multi-year rodent or exclusion contract, it's worth asking upfront how billing is handled if you ever pause or cancel, and what the turnaround looks like if a follow-up visit is needed.

Having pest activity can be very stressful. Eric came out to recheck the exterior much quicker than I expected which was fabulous. He listened attentively and addressed each of the areas of concern and always with a smile!

We were not at home because we did not receive the usual email notification that Catseye would be coming today. In any case, we appreciate the fact that Paul could still examine all 7 black boxes and report that most had mild activity. We thank Paul for his efficient and thorough work.
