Security Pest Elimination

Security Pest Elimination is a family-owned pest control company based in North Reading, running for over 30 years by its own account (founded 1993), and its Google reviews keep circling back to one thing: technicians who explain what they're doing before, during, and after the visit. Jim comes up by name in more reviews than any other technician — walking customers through his whole process, pointing out problem areas around the house, and in one case showing up two hours after the first call rather than the days or weeks the customer expected. Others name Raymond, Nathan, John Santoro, and Bill for similar service: Nathan is described, in a January 2025 review, as thorough about locating a mouse problem and explaining prevention in detail; John Santoro, in a May 2026 review, cleared out mice that had gotten past an earlier fall inspection and refilled the bait stations. A 2022 review specifically credits the company with not trying to up-sell additional products. The one exception, in a September 2025 review, describes a different inspector as brash and rushed, more focused on closing the sale than the client's questions — the underlying issue got resolved, but the customer says a second inspector they later brought in was shocked at how the visit had gone. For general pest, rodent, or seasonal tick work, the pattern across three years of reviews and repeat customers — one reports six years of annual service — is a company that explains itself. Just note that the experience described above wasn't universal.
