Andy Whitley's public paper trail and his public sales pitch describe two different tradesmen. BuildZoom's write-up puts him at 5 Centennial Dr in Peabody and credits him with 20 years of residential construction and remodeling — kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, additions, decks. Its own permit sample tells another story: all 11 permits, running 2006 to 2018, are electrical, several of them for school kitchen electrical service in Boston, Roxbury, Mattapan and East Boston, with other jobs in Methuen, Nahant, Danvers and Peabody. Nobody has written a review of him on BuildZoom, and no phone number is published there, so there is nothing from homeowners about how he estimates, schedules, or finishes a job. The licensing line needs a direct question. BuildZoom's page carries a "Verified License" badge in its header while its licence section reads "Not Required" — a status it says it checked back in August 2018. Ask him what he actually carries today, in writing, and match it to the work you want done: an electrical job and a whole-room remodel call for different credentials. He is worth a call if your project is the kind of electrical work his permits actually show. For a kitchen or basement renovation, get his current registration and licence numbers, ask for recent references, and collect competing quotes, because there is no recent written history here to go on.
