Andrew Rossman Electrical Services is a one-person outfit — the website says Andrew personally handles every job himself, with no subcontractors or rotating crews — based in Peabody and working across the North Shore (Salem, Danvers, Beverly, Lynn, and a dozen more towns by its own account). He's held an active Massachusetts electrician license (#21556) and the business, running since 2017, carries an A+ rating with BBB accreditation since 2021. The 29 reviews on file, from 2017 through late 2025, tell a consistent story about how he works. In a 2021 review, a customer devoted much of a five-star write-up just to communication — "HE COMMUNICATED WITH ME!" — after Andrew explained why a previous owner's underground cable to a rebuilt garage needed replacing before power could go back on. In a Nov-2025 review, another customer waited three weeks for a first appointment but said it was worth it, and noted the final bill came in under the original estimate. The jobs themselves run from routine to substantial. A 2021 review describes him upgrading a home's service to 200 amps and bringing the panel up to code, coordinating the utility's part of the job himself. A 2018 review mentions wiring in three ecobee smart thermostats and additional smart switches; a 2022 review credits him with helping finish a basement start to finish. Several customers, including one in a 2023 review, say his quotes came in under "inflated" bids from larger firms. The one practical note, from that Nov-2025 review: a three-week wait for a first appointment, which tracks with a one-person shop still doing steady repeat business after nine years — worth asking about scheduling if the work isn't urgent. For anyone who wants the same electrician on-site every time, explaining what's happening as he goes, the record here — spanning routine repairs to full panel upgrades — backs that up consistently.
My first time working with Andrew Rossman. Waited 3 weeks for initial appointment. Guess what? Well worth the wait. Arrived early. Super smart/explains things well. Put my mind at ease for some safety questions. Quickly installed a dedicated circuit in the cellar. Best of all --- he was honest! His bill was less than the invoice. When does that happen nowadays? Sigh! I have a new electrician and peace of mind.
Stellar service! Highly recommended.
Amazingly responsive. Neat and cleans up after himself. Very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend
Came through in an urgent matter quickly and efficiently. Kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Cannot recommend more highly!
We had him replace our service, re-wire several outlets, and add a couple more. Excellent communication, very high-quality and detail-oriented work, competitive pricing. Goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Andrew for any electrical work you need.
