A condo association that hired Apex Remodeling twice wrote about the first job in September 2023: a year-long fire restoration, from December 2021 to December 2022, of four damaged units in a 100-year-old building, where both the insurance claim scope and the code upgrades ran long. That is the one written account on file, and the person who wrote it had been through the whole job and came back for a second one. The Massachusetts registry lists the company's home improvement contractor registration, #209336, as active under Apex Remodeling Inc. One review, however detailed, is thin ground for a large renovation. Ask for two or three recent addresses and the name of the person who would run your job day to day, and ask directly whether the crew regularly does the kind of work you want rather than insurance restoration. Worth a conversation for a fire or water restoration, or a multi-unit renovation in an older building. For a straightforward kitchen, confirm that is regular work for them before you shortlist.
