terrible shady work. contractor failed to obtain permission from city. despite numerous defects on the project he did took the money and disappeared into fog. blocked my phone number from messages, numerous complaints on his account from bbb, yelp, mass consumer protection and home advisor.

We hounded him for weeks to finish the job, even questioned (with pictures) as to why it looked like the wall was bowing in the middle. He said its the "blocks. Its the way they sit. One row bumps out the next". I said as long as its safe and not going to fall thats fine. He never finished the job, we had to build our own walls on the 2 ends of the main wall. While bringing crushed stone to the backyard, the vibration of the bobcat made the original wall COLLAPSE! We were at least 4 feet from the main wall, literally just putting the stone in the back yard for HIM to finish filling the wall HE was supposed to do. He had the balls to ask what we did?!?! WE did nothing. OUR WALLS, that were built the correct way stayed perfectly fine. Also didn't use the geogrid and used INTERIOR CAULKING!
They started the project as agreed and were paid the project value but did not complete it. There are numerous reasons why it is not possible to finish. She had to call multiple times for the contractor to come in and finish the work. After a month, I reported an issue with the quality of work. The contractor is incommunicado and unresponsive to inquiries.
