Armstrong Building + Development is a Westborough, Massachusetts remodeling and construction firm the company says owner Keith Armstrong started in 1992, and its written record on Houzz backs that up with the kind of jobs a small custom-build shop takes on: home additions, new-home construction, and complex bathroom remodels. In three reviews posted in early 2019, homeowners describe repeat relationships rather than one-off jobs — one had Armstrong build their house and later hired the crew back for a basement finish and an addition, another brought Keith back for six window replacements and a slider after he'd already redone two bathrooms. The recurring thread is flexibility on tight layouts: one reviewer credits him with fitting a marble master bathroom into a 5-by-8-foot space by figuring out how to add a pocket door, and another describes finishing a major renovation on time and within budget. The catch is recency — all three written accounts are from 2019, and nothing newer is on file, so there's no way to say how the crew, pricing, or availability look today. For a homeowner planning an addition, a full bathroom remodel, or window replacement as part of a larger renovation, the 2019 record is uniformly positive; it's worth confirming current availability and pricing directly before booking.

Top notch skills and service. The phrase you get what you pay for seems to be one of life's truths. We finished on time and within budget. We did add somethings along the way but they were things we wanted. I liked how we were in the driver's seat regarding decisions however guidance was provided is a respectful way and at the right times during the project. We were also given a reasonable time to think through suggestions without impacting the deadline of the project. There was never any finger pointing between designer and Armstrong Building. Not dealing with that type of aggravation which I hear is very common was worth a lot to me. This was a major renovation something I had no experience with so I was very glad to partner with Keith of Armstrong Building and Development.
Keith Armstrong has remodeled 2 of our bathrooms, And then we hired him to replace all the windows in our familyroom/sunroom. He was always on time and did not leave our project for more than a day to work somewhere else. We were so please with the results of our Master and boys bathroom that we hired him again to replace the 6 windows plus a slider on the house. As always neither project was straight forward and he was flexible and creative on how to solve the issues that came up. I was able to get a beautiful marble master bathroom in a 5 X 8 space because he was willing to figure out how to install a pocket door. This allowed us to go from one sink to two. in addition, we worked with a designer that he has a partnership, Paula Walsh. We used her for the bathrooms but not the window replacements. I would recommend Keith to anyone needing work!.
Not only did Armstrong Building & Development build our house, but we've hired them to do multiple projects since (basement finishing, added an addition...) and have always been completely satisfied and impressed with the quality of work and professionalism. Though we don't plan to do any more work, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again if needed!
