Came and measured and never responded to emails or calls regarding the estimate. Wasted 2 hours of my time promised they could get the job done for my father who had just had a stroke in Somerville and then complete ghosting. Tam never responded to texts calls or emails. Not professional not reliable. RB Farina Roofing is who we hired. Do not call Tam from Arya.

Ten did an excellent job, quick to provide a quote, and did the work within a day. Reasonably priced, so happy we went with Ten.

We had worked with Ten Arya on a waterproofing project on our condo in Cambridge about 5 years ago, and were very pleased with the result. So we recently engaged Ten to redo our entire roof, and also to change replace an old shingle porch roof with copper. As usual, Ten was easy to deal with, responsive, and he and his crew did superior work. Pricing was very fair as well. This is my #1 team for any roofing or siding work in the Cambridge area.

We live in a small single-family house in Cambridge. We contracted with Arya Roofing to redo our roof several years ago. We liked Ten's manner, and found our interactions with him were positive. As a result of that first experience, we called on Arya Roofing again this past April to do another job: to remove our old, leaky porch floor and deteriorating railing, put down a new underlayment and add a new gutter. Ten and I set up a date for a site visit. He came, looked over the job, made some measurements, and discussed options we might consider for our new porch once Arya's underlayment job was complete. Ten's input and expertise were very helpful. I already regarded his opinion highly, along with manner and professionalism. We set a date for the work soon thereafter. His crew came on the appointed day and, in less than half a day the job that we contracted with him to do (to pull up the old porch, put down a new underlayment, and attach a new gutter) was complete (see pic # 1). They left the site clean and, as before, we had had a very positive experience working with Ten and his organization. I had already decided that I would get started on building the new porch myself once the underlayment job was complete. I recently completed work on that new porch (see pic # 2). Again, Ten's input regarding the options available to us was very helpful as we conceived and planned our new porch project. Christopher Chippendale Cambridge

TL; DR: Hire him! Ten and his team did the strip and reroof for my house in July 24. We are very happy with the whole process and how the new roof turned out. I requested a quote online and was contacted the next day and confirmed an appointment the day after. Received a quote three days later and we agreed on a date for starting the job. The Job was started on and finished on time. From quote to new roof it happened within 3 weeks! And the roof looks great! Great things about Ten: he is extremely responsive, and easily reachable by phone or text. He is patient and always willing to answer your questions; he presents you with the options but doesn’t try to push you into any decisions (you know what I meant if you have got a few roofing quotes 😂); his bid was very reasonable; and his crew was professional and polite, and cleaned the work site each day after work. It was a great experience working with him and his team, and I highly recommend him for any roofing needs.
