The reviews for Aspen Environmental read like a roster. Gerson, Damian and Angel working the attic of an antique home; Cristal and Sean on the ducts; Zach and Xavier hauling fans into a flooded basement. Across 123 Google ratings averaging 4.8, customers name the crew that showed up — which is rare enough to say something about how this Methuen company runs a job. The work splits two ways: mold remediation and air-quality testing on one side, duct cleaning and AeroSeal duct sealing on the other, with insulation, asbestos testing and water-damage response around the edges. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The BBB page shows an A+ and cites adherence to IICRC and NORMI standards. The specifics customers give are concrete. A March 2026 duct-cleaning customer wrote that Junior and Richard found a disconnected heating duct in the attic and showed them the photographs. A February 2026 job turned up a thirteenth heat vent the homeowner had not known existed. In December 2025 a customer reported a duct reading of 125 brought down to 25 after sealing. In November 2025, a homeowner whose finished basement flooded said Aspen was there with fans and dehumidifiers inside two hours, and the standing water was gone within an hour of their arrival. One review cuts hard against all of that, and anyone hiring for remediation should read it. In November 2025 a customer gave one star and wrote that an independent hygienist's post-work testing came back high for black mold, that they paid another company $20,000 to gut and redo the work properly, and that Aspen never kept a contents list for their insurance claim. Two other accounts point at follow-through rather than the work itself. An August 2025 reviewer said scheduling insulation work took over three months and was then cancelled at the last minute, with no promised callback. A customer who originally posted five stars came back in May 2024 to say they had waited over a month for a response and never got one. For duct cleaning and sealing, the record here is deep, current and specific — 13 reviews in the past six months, none negative, most naming the technicians who did the work. For a mold remediation the same crews draw the same praise, but the stakes are higher: agree up front who performs the post-remediation clearance testing and what happens if it fails, get the contents documentation your insurer will want written into the scope, and pin the schedule down before you commit.

Gerson, Damian and Angel did an excellent job remediating the mold in the attic of our antique home. They were very careful and conscientious of the age of the house and the need to treat the wooden walls with care. We greatly appreciated their skill and effort. Highly recommend.

I recently had insulation work done by Aspen Environmental, and I’m extremely happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable from start to finish. They explained the entire process clearly and made sure everything was completed with great attention to detail. The quality of the work was excellent, and you can tell they truly care about doing the job right. The crew worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and were very respectful throughout the project. I highly recommend Aspen Environmental to anyone looking for high-quality insulation work and outstanding customer service. Thank you to Angel, Richard, Sean, and Zachary for the amazing job!

I had a dirty dusty earthy smell coming from my ducts when I turned on the heat. This problem has been going on for at least a year. One company came in and cleaned the ducts in February. That didn’t fix the problem. I called Aspen in May and spoke to Andrew. We discussed not only cleaning the ducts but also sealing them. The equipment they use was more powerful and the process was superior, compared to the other company. Further, sealing the ducts from the inside using Aeroseal was huge because dirty dusty air in the ceiling and walls was getting pulled into my ducts and blowing out of my ducts. When Aspen finished their work, the dirty dusty air smell was gone. Finally, clean air again. Great job!

Joshua and Joseph were on time, polite, clean and completed the job in the time they said they would. Absolutely no complaints. Friendly young men who we plan to have return and do the HVAC ductwork cleaning in the future. They are in our house-plan file. Well done gentlemen!
