Associate Roofing is a Braintree roofing and waterproofing contractor with hundreds of projects on file across BuildZoom and Procore Construction Network. Company directory profiles describe it as family-owned, spanning three generations back to 1932 — but a New England Real Estate Journal report gives a different history: founded in 1975 by third-generation roofer Michael Lynch, and acquired by Valor Exterior Partners, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Osceola Capital, as part of an expansion into southern Massachusetts and Martha's Vineyard. BuildZoom shows 415 projects on file, including 34 tagged specifically as roofing work; Procore Construction Network lists 8 more. Given the reported ownership change, ask directly who runs day-to-day operations now and whether the crew and any warranty terms carry over, and confirm licensing and insurance before signing a contract.

Established in 1975 by Michael Lynch, a third-generation roofer with family roots in the industry dating to 1932, Associate provides roofing, siding, and other exterior home services to homeowners across southern Mass., R.I., and the surrounding coastal islands. This partnership marks Valor’s ninth acquisition since the platform’s launch in September 2024. ... “We are excited to welcome the Associate Roofing”
