The exception is real and worth reading. That is a single account against a long run of praise for careful, tidy crews, but it is specific and it is about the work itself. Google sits at 4.7 across 103 ratings, HomeAdvisor at 4.9 across 18, and the BBB grades it A+ as an insulation contractor. Two of the low Google ratings, both from 2026, came from people who said they had never used the service at all. A sensible route into Mass Save insulation and air sealing if you want the assessment and the rebate paperwork handled in one go. Before the crew arrives, walk the exterior with the lead installer — gutters, plantings, anything close to the work — and agree in writing what gets protected and how debris is cleared.
