AVIKSIS PLUMBING

Shimon Aviksis is the plumber customers describe, and the stories are about showing up when it counts. In a 2018 Angi review, a customer said Shimon came first thing in the morning during a blizzard and fixed their leak creatively, sparing them a full shower panel replacement. Another 2018 customer said he got back to them right away when their water heater broke on a Friday night. The Newton plumber shows 5.0★ from 137 Angi ratings and 4.5★ from 14 on Google. Pricing comes up in his favor. A 2017 customer said that once Shimon realized a job was easier than expected, he cut his fee to about half the original quote, and another 2017 customer said he stood by his initial price after returning a couple of times to fix a pipe. A November 2025 customer called the pricing fair and affordable, and an April 2026 customer said he was responsive and punctual. In May 2024, a Google reviewer said a company called "Arrow services" had taken over Aviksis Plumbing's Google listing, keeping the address but changing the name and phone number, and that the plumber was losing business to it. A May 2026 Google reviewer said they were treated disrespectfully and screamed at when they called the owner with a question. Its BBB page is an A+; the business is not BBB accredited.
