Many reviews of Nascimento HVAC & Plumbing, a Newton heating, cooling and plumbing company, name Klay Nascimento and describe someone who shows up fast when the heat or water goes. In a December 2024 Google review, a customer said Clay came right away on a Saturday night for a heating emergency. Another customer that December said the company came the same day for a leaky kitchen sink the weekend before Christmas, and a May 2024 customer said their heat was looked at the same day and fixed by the next. The bigger jobs are boilers and HVAC systems. A November 2025 customer said Nascimento replaced their boiler after they got proposals from three other companies, and a June 2025 customer said the company replaced their central AC with fair, competitive pricing. A February 2024 customer who called about a new boiler during a full remodel said Klayton walked them through options, told them they needed permits, and they ended up with a tankless water heater. Google shows 4.6★ from 27 ratings. Two reviewers accused the company of dishonesty. In an April 2026 review, a reviewer said they tested the company on a brand-new home with a disconnected wire, a simple fix, and were told they needed a new machine. A November 2025 reviewer called it untruthful and dishonest. Its Massachusetts plumber license is active. BBB lists a sheet metal licence number, 18369. Its BBB page is an A+; the company is not BBB accredited.
Dishonest people! We made a test on a brand new home, disconnected a wire, simple fix and they told me I needed a brand new machine! We do those on a pretty regular basis, to test companies, and they failed miserably! DO NOT TRUST!
Awesome service. He’s very generous in explaining what happened why we lost our heat in the house and what prevention we can take to prevent the same issues in the future. He’s polite kind and very friendly. His price is fair and gave us a good discount too. Highly recommended.
I have used them several times. They replaced one of my units furnaces back in the fall and are helping me to keep another units furnace going for another winter or more. These are guys you can trust. They do a great job, extremely responsive, always on time, extremely knowledgeable, respectful of the property and clean up after themselves. I ask a lot of questions and they are happy to explain things to me and I don't feel they are bothered by my questions. I highly recommend them. Thanks Nascimento Team!
Nascimento HVAC & Plumbing replaced our boiler recently and they were great. We had gotten proposals/estimates from 3 other companies but Nascimento checked all the boxes: their communication was responsive and friendly, they were able to start the project promptly (which was a relief because our old boiler was completely out of commission), they set reasonable expectations for the timeline of the project (and met those expectations), they accommodated our request for a specific brand of boiler (providing estimates for both standard and high-efficiency models), and they did it all at a competitive price. They've earned our trust and our future business.
