Ransford completed work on our front deck, back stairs and under storage. We had everything converted over from wood to vinyl and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I wanted to do a two family conversion and needed help coming up with the layout for the units. Ransford listened and provided several options on how I could do it. He also had some good ideas and advice along the way about the process of doing the multi- family conversion. In the end, we came up with a cost effective layout that I am happy with. We hired Ransford to put a deck on the back of our house. Ransford was a pleasure to work with. He met with us to initially get our thoughts on our project and immediately sketched up a rough view of the deck attached to the house and a detailed breakdown of the work that was needed including plans, inspections, materials and removal of old stairs. We made some modifications and drew up an agreement. We made one change to the project after we started which was to make the deck wider. Ransford was able to accomodate us and work with our surveyor and the town of Needham to amend the plans. He and his crew worked through some extremely hot days and built our deck quickly and professionally. We were thrilled with his attention to detail and how much work he put in to building a strong foundation and framing. He also made some suggestions on the layout of the pattern on the decking which we really appreciate. We love the deck. We would not hesitate to recommend Ransford to anyone who asks and we have already made plans to have him do other work on our house.…
