Paulo is the name that shows up again and again in Green Monster Gutters' reviews — homeowners across Google, HomeAdvisor, and Angi describe him personally handling quotes, showing up fast, and skipping the upsell that other companies lean on. The company's site says it started in 2019 doing gutter cleaning, repair, and installation across Greater Boston, and describes itself as locally owned and operated, based in Cambridge — though it's listed at an address in Medford. This holds true across years, not just the last few months. In a March 2026 review, a downspout that had fallen was fixed the day after a call, at a rate the homeowner called reasonable. A 2022 review recalled Paulo coming out for a free estimate when other companies wanted to charge just to inspect, and a second 2022 review said two other companies had recommended unnecessary work before Green Monster Gutters addressed the actual problem. Even a 2021 Angi review makes a similar point, describing Paulo explaining every option and its effect on installation time and cost in a transparent way. A 2025 Reddit thread in r/malden separately praised the company's communication and how thorough the person sent out was. In a June 2023 Reddit thread in r/somerville, a poster recommended the company, saying Paulo gave a fair quote and explained everything. The most recent reviews keep the same shape: one describes Paulo removing a bird's nest from a client's gutters without trying to upsell additional work, another calls the process efficient, timely and communicative, and a third says he responded quickly to a quote request and sent before-and-after photos of the finished gutters. Massachusetts lists the home improvement contractor registration held by Green Monster Gutters LLC, 198352, as active. A strong call for gutter cleaning, repair, or replacement in the Greater Boston area; confirm the registration status and get the scope and price in writing before work begins.
“also recently used green monster gutters. they were great. I think it was $330 for the cleaning, but that was total for 4 townhouses with a lot of gutters. Highly recommend them.”
“I’ve used green monster gutters out of medford for gutter cleaning and replacement and been pleased. Good service and communication, decent price - under $200 for the cleaning”
“We liked green monster gutters when they came out - we had them do a bunch of downspout replacements and rerouting”
“They had the best communication and quote process and the person they sent was very thorough and actually was the only one to climb up and take proper measurements.”
“We just used green monster gutters. Paulo was great, easy to communicate with, strategize a couple of problem areas, and his crew was kind, prompt, and professional. Highly recommend.”
We had a bird make their nest in our gutters and Paulo was very helpful in removing it. He didn't try and upsell us, provided fair pricing, and provided proactive communication. Highly recommend!
Efficient. Timely. Communicative. Excellent process and work done. 100% will hire again and honestly, am done looking for gutter companies. Paolo and Green Monster Gutters are my absolute go-to. I almost don't want to post this because now they may be harder to book : )
Paulo and his team cleaned the gutters on our townhouse and did a fantastic job. Paulo was easy to work with, quickly responded to our request for a quote, and sent us before and after photos of the gutters. Very professional on all levels.
Green Monster Gutters were easy to work with and did great work. I'd happily work with them again
Green monster gutters matched my high expectations based on others reviews. Paulo is very responsive and responsible, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. Very reasonable pricing. Wonderful crew who was kind and cleaned up everything so well, we didn't even know the job was done! I would definitely hire them again if I had another gutter issue.
