In October 2026 a passerby at the Hardack trails said they watched unsecured trash blow off a Bannister worksite into nearby roads.
“Bannister Custom Exteriors is a great company.”
“Second this. I had an excellent experience with Bannister.”
“Bannister.”
“Blue Sky and Bannister are both pretty good. Get a few quotes”
Imagine doing so bad at your job that a random passerby decides to never use your services 😬 I enjoy hitting the Hardack trails regularly and will often sit in my car before/after to snack. Today I was doing just that when a LARGE piece of plastic came billowing by. Then another. And then an equally large piece of packing paper as I got out of my car. As I struck out for the trailhead across that open field the wind picked up and the source of the litter caught my eye- these guys! I watched as more unsecured trash rolled off their worksite into the nearby roads and neighborhood I parked in. There was a fella standing AT the source just ignoring it. I did call the business to confirm it was them at the worksite before placing this review. You don't suddenly have the right to litter the entire community and create traffic hazards because you're a business. I would never give these people my money.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Bannister Roofing Company for a double-seamed roof replacement and a deck project, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team demonstrated professionalism, skill, and a genuine commitment to quality. The foremen, Pat and Sean, were outstanding throughout the entire process. They kept me informed, addressed all my questions, and ensured every detail was handled with care. Their expertise and attention to detail truly made a difference, and the craftsmanship they brought to the project was nothing short of incredible. Ryan, the owner, personally ensured that everything went smoothly and that I was completely satisfied with the work. It’s clear that Bannister Roofing values their customers and takes pride in delivering top-notch service. I highly recommend Bannister Roofing Company to anyone in need of roofing or deck services. Their dedication, professionalism, and exceptional work have exceeded my expectations, and I am beyond happy with my new roof and deck! Ron Slade Stowe V.T.
Bannister is consistently terrific -- we've had their good services on more than one project over the years. They are professional, timely, efficient, fairly priced, friendly -- indeed terrific.
When my patio suffered severe water/storm damage, I needed a good contractor! Not knowing of one, I turned to reviews of contractors on line. Bannister Custom Exteriors stood out as having excellent reviews, so I called and Shawn Kivela was here two days later to estimate and explain what needed to be done. With a master carpenter and a metal fabricator on board, the job was done to perfection, within the time frame and estimate. I highly recommend them.
Ryan is awesome and very dependable!
