Barrington Painters customers described more than freshly painted walls. In a June 2019 Houzz review, one customer praised clean, crisp painting lines and said the workers removed the photos and hooks from the walls, then put everything back after painting. Other customers writing in 2019 and 2020 praised Darren’s punctuality and cleanup. The business is listed in Holland, with a Worcester-area service list on Houzz. Angi and HomeAdvisor list residential painting and interior painting or staining; Houzz also lists ceiling, door and cabinet painting and wallpaper removal. Its written customer accounts span 2016–2020. Angi and HomeAdvisor each display a 5.0-star average from 17 ratings, while Houzz displays 5.0 from six. The dated accounts describe work in several parts of the home. A September 2016 Google reviewer named Darren Barrington and praised painting throughout their house, including primer, wall colors and trim. A May 2019 Angi customer described a bedroom painting job and praised Darren’s neatness and punctuality. On Houzz in February 2019, another customer said he painted all their ceilings and kitchen walls, then cleaned up when he was finished. A separate February 2019 customer described painting and staining in their kitchen and said he accommodated their animals. Some customers had hired him more than once. A June 2019 Houzz reviewer said they returned to Barrington Painters after moving into a new home, several years after their first experience with Darren. This time the company painted a bathroom following its remodel, and the reviewer praised his recommendation of paint intended to reduce visible water lines on the walls. Another Houzz customer, writing in February 2019, called the quote fair and said the first job led them to ask Darren back for a second, which they also praised. Angi and HomeAdvisor state that free estimates are offered. Both profiles also report that emergency services and warranties are not offered.
