Barry's Home Improvement LLC says on its website that it provides residential and commercial general contracting, managing projects from planning and permits through completion. A 2024 Google reviewer who had used Joe Barry many times over 4 years said he replaced a wood deck with a Trex deck, rebuilt their gardens, painted and did woodwork repairs inside, replaced a bathroom faucet, and cleaned mold, mildew and moss from the roof each year. In 2023, a customer said Joe refinished their 100 year old wood floors and remodeled a bedroom, building closets and a window seat. A 2026 reviewer said that when their main line froze and the pressure tank failed, Joe replaced the tank and switch and unfroze the line. A recent 1-star reviewer said a room the company did for them was terrible and that they now have to pay someone else to redo the work. On Google it holds 4.3 stars from 6 ratings.
I'm so disappointed, and disgusted. We had bhi to do a room for us. It's really terrible. I feel he bit off more he could chew. Basically he's got our money and now I have to pay someone to do his crappy work..... The only reason I posted this so no one else gets burned or scammed. He talks a big game, honestly, I feel like I've been rapped over and over..
Joe and Laurie are fantastic. Joe is a powerhouse of knowledge and hard work ethic. Our main line froze during this year's freeze, our pressure tank failed and the switch siezed. He came by, replaced the tank, switch, and unfroze our main line until we had running water again. They've come through for us when the freeze came by this year, and we're greatly appreciative of Joe's hard work and effort of making sure we were all set. They have loyal customers for as long as they're in business!! Thanks Joe and Laurie!!
Joe Barry is a true gift. My husband and I have used Joe many times over the past 4 years. "Handyman" does not come close to describing his skills. He replaced a wood deck with a large beautiful Trex deck, he re-imagined and rebuilt our gardens, he painted and did numerous woodwork repairs throughout the interior of our home; he fixed and replaced our bathroom faucet. He cleans and protects our roof from mold, mildew and moss every year. One year, he even removed the ice and snow from our roof. He truly does it all in a quiet non intrusive and highly respectful way. His work is always perfect. Thank you Joe- I am very grateful for all you have done for us.
Professional, efficient, quality work! Highly recommend Barry’s Home Improvement for all your interior and exterior home and landscaping needs!
Joe was very professional and did such a beautiful job refinishing our 100 year old wood floors and remodeling our bedroom building closets & a beautiful window seat.
