I an very happy with our new cooling/heating system and completely happy with the folks at Bay State HVAC. The are very skilled, efficient and great to work with. Our system was installed quickly and works very well and they were there to address all questions and concerns that I may have had, COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A BETTER EXPERIENCE!

Very pleased! I own a South Shore antique home. Mike and the BayState team did an excellent job at considering all the unique aspects of an old home for the mini split installation. Mike’s attention to detail, ideas, and deliberative follow-through was much appreciated and just what I was looking for. Highly recommend for projects needing a local contractor with old house, careful consideration. Further, BayState took care of the most of the Mass Save paperwork and guided me through the process. Very professional team. I included a picture of our living room install to show how well it fit into a room and avoided the “large appliance hanging from your wall” look.

Steps to completion, experiences and recommendations Mass Save 1. We picked a home services insulation vendor, as they were at Home Depot offering the insulation services 2. they did a home review for insulation and got their recommendations / what's needed & finalized / costs / instant rebates. 3. We found the right HVAC vendor, started with 6 of the non elite HVAC partners to learn the ropes then checked on the elite HVAC partner BayState HVAC.. 4. BayState HVAC came onsite and we designed our Heat pumps / mini splits solution / costs / instant rebates 5. We applied and got the Mass Save Heat Loan (no interest / 7 years) 6. We built wood frames and poured a couple concrete slabs for the 2 heat pumps (30" x 42") using 12 each 50# bags 7. got 2 each heat loan checks for the insulation vendor, 2 each heat loan checks for BayState HVAC 8. the BayState HVAC Electrical work was done and completed 9. the insulation work was done and completed, the cost difference was put onto our Visa.. 10. the BayState installation work was done and completed noting: we found the BayState team to have a lot of knowledge and willing to share so we could learn, customer facing friendly, patient, highly experienced and easily the best choice for us a pride driven crew, that runs deep in their family tradition they performed flawlessly and with great attention to detail (including clean up), zero issues found or experienced including honoring my veteran status and offering a military discount. our solution consists of house roof top Solar 2 each Mitsubishi 2.5 ton heat pumps downstairs a 24k Mitsubishi mini split in the large living space and a 6k Mitsubishi mini split in the large bedroom upstairs an 18k Mitsubishi mini split in the large kitchen space, which will also heat the living room space and a 6k Mitsubishi mini split in each end of the hallway bedrooms. each floor is connected to both heat pumps, so if a heat pump was to be out of service both floors of the house still have heat we replaced an 18 year old pellet stove and electric base board heaters in the near future we plan to configure a power outage solution, with both heat pumps being connected to a gas generator We can't Thank the BayState HVAC team enough. They were a great company to work with when I was building a new construction house in Hingham. They help me size the system to the correct HERS Rating and met with me throughout the project to make sure the job was running smoothly. Highly recommend them for New construction and remodeling!!
