BD Crafters LLC

Ben made custom shelving for a home office that fit the space and matched the existing woodwork, a recent Google customer wrote, and that customer is now using him for a larger project. The company describes itself on its website as a family-owned business located in Northern New Hampshire, focused on home improvements and finish carpentry, and says it has 25 years in business. On Google it shows 5 stars from 13 ratings, and Angi shows 4.9 from 15. A 2025 customer said BD Crafters replaced a rotting deck and a long set of outdoor steps across a few levels on the side of a hill. A 2024 customer wrote that Ben helped think through the layout and materials before building the deck. A 2024 Google reviewer said BD Crafters repaired, stained and replaced the railings on a deck, a job that customer called large. Indoors, a 2023 customer said Ben handled a two-bathroom renovation, from demolition and flooring to painting and installing toilets, vanities, mirrors and lighting. A 2023 reviewer described a five-month renovation by Ben that included a full basement remodel, door upgrades, a custom hardwood mantle, a staircase, a cherry bookcase and slate on the main floors. A 2024 customer said Ben replaced an exterior patio door and later installed a ceramic tile floor in the dining room, kitchen and bathroom. In a 2020 Angi review, a customer said Ben removed old stain and mold from a 25-year-old log cabin in Franconia NH by powerwashing, after quotes to sandblast it had approached $17,000; the building needed sanding afterward. That 2020 customer advised giving Ben access to the interior or being there for that kind of job, since some dirty water got inside. A 2020 customer said a deck repair was done in one day but cost more than quoted because of unknown problems with the joists.
