BD Trucking is a Franklin, MA moving, junk removal, and demolition company run by owner Brady Dillon, serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It's a young operation -- three years in business per the Better Business Bureau -- and carries an A+ BBB grade, though it isn't BBB-accredited. Across Google, Thumbtack, and BBB it has built up 55 reviews with strong scores (4.8 on Google from 55 ratings, 4.6 on Thumbtack from 95 ratings). The great majority of the written record is enthusiastic and specific about the actual moving crews. Reviewers repeatedly describe them as fast, careful, and communicative -- one recounts the team handling a Lego collection without a single damaged brick, another describes a respectful, patient move of an elderly parent into assisted living, and several mention tight stairwells or a triple-tier porch handled without trouble. A few reviews single out other job types too, including at least one full demolition of a single-car garage and quick junk-hauling jobs. What's worth knowing before booking: a real, recurring complaint runs alongside the praise, and it's specifically about pricing and the office side of the business rather than the crews on-site. Several detailed, recent reviews describe a quoted price that changed on moving day -- one reviewer says they were charged for the movers' lunch break despite objecting, and another names a manager who they say raised the price three times over the course of the job and pointed to the owner as the source of the increases. In each case, the movers themselves are still described as hardworking and professional; the friction is with billing and communication, not the physical work. For a straightforward local move, junk haul, or small demolition job, BD Trucking's actual on-the-ground work has a strong track record. Given the pricing complaints on file, it's worth getting the full itemized price -- truck fees, hourly rates, and any break policies -- confirmed in writing before the move date.
the movers are super professional, efficient and responsive! we are super happy that we hired them to help us move. we have a 2b1b with a lot of heavy stuff and also a lot of things from the basement, we are also packing while they are moving. they are awesome and being very flexible and helped us move all furniture to the right place when we get to the new place. highly recommended!
Overall great experience with Norm, Eli and Matt helping me move. The part I was frustrated with was the repeated request to have the movers come at a certain time (10am) if not later. I received pushback and went with 10am. The movers ended up arriving at 9:30am and was ultimately charged for that time even though it was too early for my move in destination. While the owner argues traffic was light and that’s why they were early, I should not be expected for time I didn’t agree to. I received passive aggressive texts in response to my request as well as well an accusation of a “shakedown”. This behavior honestly checks out with the responses to these poor reviews. Instead of being defensive, take accountability and provide proper customer service. Rather unprofessional from the management/owner/operations. (They also responded to a review I left on thumbtack, lying about the amount I tipped and not even knowing the date I actually moved… I would steer clear!)
Nice guys!
Great movers. On time, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend.
Super great thanks!
