Bell Air Moving is a Massachusetts moving company headquartered in Dedham (its website separately lists a Boston address), offering local, long-distance, commercial, packing and storage moving plus specialty piano moving across Greater Boston and the surrounding towns — Milton, Newton, Dedham, Sharon, Norwood and more. Its track record runs from 2011 through 2021 across Thumbtack, Angi, Reddit and the Better Business Bureau, and it holds up well throughout: reviewers across those years repeatedly single out named crews — Alex, Georg, Nick — for careful handling of heavy furniture and even a piano moved down a tricky staircase, described in a 2017 review. A 2019 review described a three-man crew working an entire day in 85-90°F heat without slowing down, calling it the best moving company the customer had used in Massachusetts; other reviews from 2016 through 2018 repeatedly praise fair pricing and professionalism. Its current platform ratings back that history up: 4.8 stars across 21 Angi ratings and a perfect 5.0 from 2 Thumbtack reviews, plus an A+, BBB-accredited grade. A couple of things are worth flagging. First, the company's own site names 'Raimond' as co-founder, while both the Better Business Bureau and Thumbtack's verified license list the owner as Nikolay Sosnovsky — the two don't agree on who's behind the business. Second, the site gives three different lengths of operation on the same page — 'over 20 years,' '12 years,' and '7 years' — while the Better Business Bureau puts it at 27 years (founded 1999) and Angi says 30. Thumbtack does show a verified Massachusetts moving company license (MA #31770) under Sosnovsky's name, current through March 2027, which matches the MDPU number the site itself lists. There isn't a written review dated more recent than 2021, so recent service quality can't be confirmed from reviews — though the licensing and BBB status appear current as of this year. For a local or long-distance move in the Boston area, Bell Air's written history is consistently positive and specific over a decade, and its license is current — just confirm who you're actually contracting with and how long the crew doing your move has been at it, since the company's own materials don't agree on either.
“I have used belaire moving twice. Both times I booked them on very short notice, and the guys are great and were very thoughtful and careful with my shit.”
Guys were super careful with the furniture and were a pleasure to deal with
They were very professional. I do wish they used masks during covid. My only issue.
On time. Moved heavy furniture without damaging anything. I would highly recommend them!!!
It must have been 85-90ºF but they didn't slow down. 8am - 11pm. No complaints. Seriously these guys (three men) worked tirelessly to move our stuff. By far the best moving company we've worked with in MA.
Two gentleman came to help my mother-in-law move out. They were so kind, courteous, were very fast and very energetic.
