That reviewer said Bell Air was the best moving company they had worked with in Massachusetts. Bell Air Moving is a Boston residential and commercial mover, listed in Dedham on its directory profiles and run by Nikolay Sosnovsky — the "Nick" who shows up in the oldest reviews. The BBB puts it in business since 1999 and gives it an A+ on an accredited profile. Local and long-distance moves, packing, storage, commercial jobs and pianos are all on the list. The written history runs 2011 to 2021, and what customers wrote about is how the furniture came through. A March 2020 mover said heavy pieces were moved without damaging anything; a November 2021 one said the crew was careful with the furniture. A December 2017 piano move came together the same day the customer called, with updates on when the truck would arrive. Back in December 2011, a Thumbtack reviewer said Nick hired an extra man at the last minute when a very large desk turned up, at what they called a fair price. Short notice comes up elsewhere too: a 2021 Reddit commenter said they had booked the company twice on very short notice and found the crews thoughtful and careful with their things. A May 2018 reviewer who works at a real estate brokerage added Bell Air to the firm's approved vendor list. Two things to raise before booking. A January 2018 customer said the pricing was fair but more than expected, so pin the estimate down and ask what moves it. And the company's own site states three different tenures — over 20 years in its banner, 12 years in a stat block, 7 years in a feature list — while the BBB and Thumbtack profiles both say 27 years. For a local move, a piano, or heavy furniture that cannot get scratched, Bell Air has a long stretch of customers saying it went well. Since those accounts run from 2011 to 2021, ask who is on the truck now, confirm the crew size and hourly rate, and check the mover licence before the day.
