A bedroom ceiling started leaking after a February 2022 snowstorm, and Ben's crew was at the house within a couple of hours — Nelson found the problem and had it fixed before it turned into real damage. Four months later another homeowner called about what looked like a roof leak and Ben came out the same day; it turned out to be a drain line in the attic, not the roof at all. Water gets attention fast here.
Benjamin Aguirre started the company in 1999 out of Natick and still runs it as a family business, doing roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, decks, framing and snow work for homes and commercial buildings across MetroWest. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #171989, is active on the state registry in the company's own name. Permit records show 25 projects, 11 of them in the past three years and mostly roofing, spread across Framingham, Newton, Brookline, Medway, Waltham, Somerville, Needham, Westborough and Upton — the largest a $188,200 addition for a commercial meat shop in Framingham in 2025.
Exterior work draws the most detail from customers. In June 2026 one had vinyl siding put on a Cape, on budget and on schedule. A 2022 customer replaced roof, gutters and siding together; another that year resided the house after talking to several of Ben's previous customers, and found the price landed in the middle of the quotes collected. A 2021 customer got a Trex Transcend deck laid in a herringbone pattern with the permits handled, and in November 2023 a family-room addition with a deck and wide steps to the backyard was finished in time for Thanksgiving, as Ben had said it would be. A Houzz reviewer in 2021, whose siding had gone on seven years earlier, had the team come back to look at weather damage and walk through a fix.
One thing to raise directly. An aggregator of U.S. Department of Labor enforcement records reports that Ben's Construction, Inc. was the subject of a formal OSHA inspection that resulted in four citations with proposed penalties; the entry carries no date, says nothing about how the matter ended, and lists the business at a Chestnut Hill address that is neither of the addresses the company uses. Ask about it, and about how site safety is handled on your job. Worth knowing as well that BuildZoom's profile carries a "no active license on file" alert and shows only a Rhode Island registration last verified as expiring in October 2021 — it is the Massachusetts registration that the state registry confirms. The GAF, Trex, James Hardie, vinyl siding and lead-safe credentials listed are the company's own statements on its website.
For a roof, siding or a deck around Natick and Framingham — or a leak someone needs to look at today — this is an owner-run outfit with active state registration and a permit history behind it. Get the OSHA question answered and the written scope agreed before anyone starts.
