Joining a two-story timber-frame addition to an existing house required removing its gable end and keeping the home usable during bad weather. A December 2021 customer of Berkshire Home Pros described Brian and his crew doing that work with temporary walls and weather protection, finishing with a Timberpeg great room and a lower-level home gym. The Dalton company says it offers residential remodeling and homebuilding in Berkshire County and surrounding areas, including timber framing and custom millwork. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade, while Google lists a 4.7-star average from 12 ratings and Houzz lists 5 stars from two ratings. Other homeowners describe projects that combined old and new construction. In a February 2020 review, a customer said their new home required a partial demolition of a longtime cabin and joining the retained structure to the new construction. They credited Brian’s carpentry and project management with addressing difficult weather, inconsistencies between architectural and engineering plans, building-code requirements, and busy subcontractors. In an April 2024 update, John and Vickie DeLorenzo said they remained pleased with the Becket home Brian and his team had built almost six years before that review. They also described a circular driveway installed at another property three years before the update, saying they had experienced no drainage or erosion problems since. Those timeframes are the customers’ descriptions of earlier work. Smaller follow-up jobs appear in older accounts as well. A December 2021 Houzz reviewer said the team had updated their house in 2020 and returned to fix a basement foundation leak. In February 2021, a customer with a long, steep driveway praised Brian’s snowplowing for avoiding a large mound in front of the house and taking care around the lawn and driveway. A September 2025 reviewer praised Brian’s carpentry knowledge and emphasis on quality. An earlier customer, writing in March 2020 after a bad experience with a different contractor, said Berkshire Home Pros followed through on issues promptly.
