Text Manuel Lema and you hear back. That is what a 2022 Thumbtack customer described: a reply right away, an appointment within two days to look at two houses, a price sent back by text that they called very reasonable, and materials picked up for both jobs. Best Brothers Construction is a family-owned roofing and siding contractor in Brockton, taking residential and commercial work, and the company says it has 15 years behind it. Roofs are what customers describe. A May 2023 reviewer had flashing repaired around a chimney and said the crew came on time and stayed in touch; a January 2024 customer called the work punctual and the finished job good, adding that if the repair didn't hold they expected Manny to come back and finish it. Its Thumbtack profile carries a 4.9-star average from seven ratings with 34 projects listed. Price cuts both ways in the 2022 reviews — one customer called the quote very reasonable, another summed the job up as courteous, professional, timely, expensive. Get the number and what it covers in writing before you commit. Two more things belong on the table. Violation Tracker lists a 2025 workplace safety or health violation against the company by OSHA, with a $5,560 penalty. And BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #195937, for the business — check its standing yourself on the state register before you sign. A sensible call for roof repairs, chimney flashing and siding around Brockton, particularly if quick back-and-forth by text suits how you work. Before booking, note that its Thumbtack profile currently shows it not accepting new roof installation or replacement jobs, so ask what they are taking on, and ask how the OSHA matter was resolved.

Best Brothers was also punctual and provided quality work. The job looks great. Due to the nature of the repair I still need to wait to see if the problem is completely resolved. If not, I'm sure Manny will honor his commitment to complete the project.
They were very communicative. Came on time, went right to work in fixing my flashing on the roof around the chimney.
They did a good job in a timely manner. I'm happy with the result and I would hire again for similar project.
Courteous, professional, timely, expensive.
