I found Best Known Pest & Wildlife after using a few other local pest control companies that were disappointing. Brendan came out and found flying squirrel & bat droppings in my attic. He was able to seal any possible access points to my roof and used one way doors for both the squirrels and bats. After a couple of weeks the noises stopped and Brendan came back to remove the doors and seal up those last two entry points. I had this done before and the work and material used by the last company was horrible but Brendan did a seamless job and it looks great and works great. Couldn’t recommend Brendan enough!

Brendan and his family are, without question, the best pest and wildlife control specialists I have ever worked with. I have owned and managed everything from multifamily properties in Dorchester with serious mice, rat, raccoon, and other pest issues to high-end homes in country club communities. Before meeting Brendan, nearly every company I dealt with offered the same temporary approach: set out bait or traps and hope for the best. It always felt like a Band-Aid, and for years I assumed there was simply no permanent solution. Brendan was the first person to offer a true, long-term solution. We purchased one of his higher-tier services, which included a 10-year guarantee, because our recently purchased luxury home had bats, red squirrels, and mice. Squirrels were getting through the roof and into the walls, and mice were finding their way inside through multiple areas of the home. Brendan and his team completely sealed the property, addressed every possible entry point, and removed everything that was already inside. I was especially concerned that we would never get the squirrels out of the walls. Brendan carefully opened a very small section of drywall, humanely trapped and removed them, and resolved the issue without causing unnecessary damage. The workmanship was exceptional. They sealed everything from the soffits and ridge vents to small openings and crevices throughout the property using durable, high-quality materials. They do not rely on cheap foam or sloppy fixes, and the finished work looks incredibly clean. The quality was so noticeable that several of my neighbors asked about the work and ended up hiring them as well. Brendan also came back repeatedly whenever needed, responded immediately to every call or text, and even performed a carpenter ant and preventative termite treatment at no additional charge. That treatment eliminated a developing carpenter ant issue before it could become a much larger problem. This company stands in a league of its own. The service, responsiveness, materials, workmanship, and people behind the business are all outstanding. In my opinion, Best Known Pest and Wildlife is the only pest and animal control company you should call. I almost never take the time to write reviews like this, and I am extremely difficult to impress. They are simply that good. I could not recommend Brendan and his family more highly.
