Better Air, LLC

Better Air, LLC cleans air ducts and dryer vents, and it carries a 4.8-star Google rating from 445 ratings. Its website says it serves homes and businesses throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. A recent customer said Tommy came to a 1950s house that had likely never had its ducts cleaned, reinforced some duct joints, cleaned the furnace heat coils, and charged a price the customer felt was fair. A recent customer said Kenny cleaned out a dryer vent that hadn't been touched in years. A recent customer said the technician took before-and-after videos of the ducts and left the workspace spotless. A recent customer said Alan did a certain room first at their request so the customer's disabled husband could go in there. Price is where some calls went sideways. A recent customer said the price jumped from $900 to over $2000 after adding services following a phone evaluation, and that this was not explained on the first call. A recent customer said a salesperson quoted a full cleaning, then the technician arrived with a much higher price because the blower and sanitation were extra. A recent customer whose furnace ducts the company had cleaned said a later dryer-vent visit ended in a small fire that damaged the dryer, which a certified professional attributed to lint buildup at the bottom of the vent. In a 2024 review, a customer said soot and debris came out of all the vents after Tommy's cleaning, and that he came back and spent several more hours cleaning.
