Betterwood Homes Inc.

Betterwood Homes is a Dennis, Massachusetts custom home builder founded by Chuck Deluga in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Maine; the company says he now brings more than four decades of hands-on building experience to projects across the Cape, alongside co-founder Paul Sullivan and project manager Chase Deluga. Both reviews on file are from this year and both are five stars. A May 2026 review calls out top-quality craftsmanship and efficient work with "beautiful results," and an April 2026 review credits Chase Deluga with being responsive and professional across many projects at the same home, adding that the range of services and the workmanship stood out. The Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ grade, though it is not a BBB-accredited business; its own profile lists a February 1987 start date and 39 years in business, a few years later than the founder's 1983 graduation the company's own site points to. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, verified directly with the state, and the company says its builders are OSHA Certified. Beyond new construction and additions, it lists kitchen and bath remodeling, finish carpentry, custom cabinetry, and stone and brick work among its services, though the written reviews on file don't go into specifics on any one of those. For a homeowner on Cape Cod considering a custom build or a larger addition, this is a long-established, licensed builder with an early but consistently positive review record — worth asking for references given how few written accounts exist so far.
