Beverly Craftsman Home Services is a one-person handyman and finish-carpentry outfit on Boston's North Shore, run by an owner named Jason who says he turned to building things full-time after 15 years in healthcare. The company, incorporated as an LLC in November 2022, lists a broad small-repair menu — drywall, painting, trim and built-in carpentry, rot and fence repair, furniture work, and accessibility upgrades like grab bars and ramps — across towns from Beverly and Salem out to Burlington and Middleton. The five Google reviews on file, posted between December 2022 and February 2025, circle back to the same point: he leaves a job site cleaner than he found it. In a 2025 review, a homeowner called the estimate accurate and the work "flawless," with "scrupulous care in clean up." Reviews from late 2022 and 2023 describe a front door and sill repaired after years of deferred maintenance, blackout shades installed with the room vacuumed afterward, and a batch of odd jobs — shelves, a light fixture, a broken sink head, closet doors rehung — handled with what one 2023 reviewer called "extremely meticulous," creative problem-solving. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, matching the number the company lists on its own site. Beyond that there isn't much else to go on: BBB has no rating or complaints on file, and the customer-facing record so far is five reviews, all five stars, all describing straightforward repairs rather than larger renovations. As a one-man shop covering a wide service area, scheduling depends on Jason's own availability. For a homeowner working through a punch list — a stuck door, drywall patch, shelves to hang, a ramp to add — the early record points toward careful, cleaned-up work on small jobs. Worth asking directly whether a specific project fits what a one-person operation can take on before booking.

Jason checks every professional box: his estimate was reasonable and accurate, his work was flawless, his showed scrupulous care in clean up, and he completed the work exactly when he said. All-in-all, a terrific experience and would recommend him without reservation.
Jason from Beverly Craftsman recently completed a project for us and we could not be more satisfied with both the work and experience. Our front door and sill needed repair after many years of deferred maintenance. Jason was prompt with contacting us, putting together a quote and setting a time for completing the job. He was responsive throughout and his work was high quality. We will definitely look to Jason and Beverly Craftsman again should the need arise for handyman services.
I had two blackout shades installed in my living room. Jason did an awesome job. He was very thorough and vacuumed and cleaned up the entire area. I only wish more tradesmen were like him!
If anyone needs a handyman, I highly recommend Beverly Craftsman Home Services. I just had shelves put up, a light fixture switched out, a broken sink head fixed and tightened, pictures hung, and closets put back on their hinges. Jason was extremely meticulous and took his time, coming up with creative solutions for things that were tricky to fix. He is very detail oriented and left the place super clean. He has a huge variety of what he can do, which was helpful to not have to call multiple people to do the varied services I needed around the home.
I found Beverly Craftsman Home Services when I had a wall that needed repair, and a clogged drain. Jason was very responsive and punctual. He did a beautiful job, and left the area cleaner than it was when he started! I highly recommend this company.
