Beverly Glass Company works out of Beverly, Massachusetts, and its Google page is hard to argue with: 4.8 stars across 337 ratings, built from 216 reviews going back to 2021 across six different sites. The jobs people call about are mostly window glass — a cracked pane, a storm window, a 1940s wood sash that needed new glass without wrecking the frame — plus shower doors and enclosures, and the occasional custom piece like a glass table top or a full mirror wall. A handful of names keep showing up in the reviews. Austin gets singled out repeatedly for prompt, clean work on window panes; James, Jason, and Rob turn up on shower door jobs. One customer had a decades-old iron table top replaced for a relative after a year of searching for someone who'd take it on; another whose vanity mirrors kept fogging was told, correctly, that a previous shop's adhesive was the real problem, not the mirror — and Beverly Glass fixed it. The last six months brought 24 reviews and only two negative ones, which tracks with the longer history: busy and mostly clean work, but not flawless. One January customer says a technician never showed for a scheduled picture-window appointment and the visit was never rescheduled. A March review said the glass itself was fine but the silicone work around it was sloppy and left the job looking messy. A few older reviews describe similar friction — slow replies stretching over weeks, and a disputed, unresolved complaint over a dinged window frame — so scheduling and finish work are the spots where this shop occasionally slips. Ask about the timeline up front if your job isn't urgent, and take a look at the finish work — caulking, silicone, frame condition — before the crew leaves. For routine window glass, storm sash, or a shower door and enclosure, the sheer volume and consistency of the reviews make Beverly Glass a reasonably safe call; just follow up promptly if a date slips instead of assuming it'll happen on its own.

Needed a piece of glass for our new outdoor coffee table. It was easy to provide the measurements and get a fair quote back within a day. Communication was limited but seemless and when I went to pick up the glass it was exactly as I ordered. The people I spoke with directly were professional and pleasant.

Austin did a terrific job replacing 2 panes of glass on our wood windows from 1940! Very pleased with his work ethic and clean up.
