Big Box Designs, a general contractor based in Danvers, Massachusetts, has an unusual specialty: it builds out home remodeling and addition projects using in-stock big-box retail inventory, including Ikea components. Houzz shows 12 completed projects for the company and lists general contracting, home remodeling, home additions, basement remodeling, and accessory-dwelling-unit work, along with a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license, HIC #185233. Confirm the license directly with the state and ask for recent references before signing on.
