Bob Gagnon Plumbing & Heating

Bob Gagnon is a one-man plumbing and heating business in Lowell, and a 2025 Reddit commenter singled him out as knowledgeable about steam heating systems, which they said is hard to find. His site says he is a master plumber who does every job himself, specializing in radiant heat design and installation, boiler and water heater replacements and forced hot water systems. Robert Gagnon's Massachusetts master plumber licence (9694-PL-M) is active on the state registry. In a June 2025 Google review, a customer who had a new high-efficiency boiler and water heater installed said Bob did the work himself, soldering all the pipes and connections, coordinated with an electrician so neither was held up, and kept them informed at every step. An August 2024 Google reviewer took the opposite view, accusing him of contradicting manufacturer recommendations and trade standards so that boilers fail and need replacing.
