Bobby Builders is a Cambridge, Massachusetts handyman and carpentry pro. An October 2023 Thumbtack review called the work clean; a second review from the same month said Bobby and his team handled a full list of general carpentry tasks, and that the customer had since referred several neighbors who now hire him too. The Thumbtack profile shows 22 project photos and lists 25 years in business, with work spanning framing, finish carpentry, custom cabinetry, deck and porch repair, door installation, furniture assembly, handyman services and TV mounting. A separate Angi profile for the same person lists 6 years of experience and a Boston, MA base — the two accounts don't agree. Confirm which years-in-business figure is current, along with licensing and insurance, before booking.
Fantastic, and clean work
Bobby Builders and his team are nothing short of AMAZING! I’ve had a ton of general carpentry tasks that needed to be done and I was well taken care of. I have referred Bobby to a few of my neighbors that he now contracts for. Thank you Bobby!!
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Bobby Builders. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.
