Bossman Construction Management, Inc.

Bossman Construction Management is a Boston-based, woman-owned construction management and general contracting firm founded by Amenyonah Bossman, who says the company specializes in accessory dwelling unit development, interior renovations, and home additions. Its credentials are concrete: the company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license, and the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office lists it as a certified Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise through 2029. The Better Business Bureau rates it A+. Permit records on BuildZoom show three filed jobs — finish-carpentry stair work completed in Somerville in 2021, a Somerville partition removal, and a Revere kitchen and window repair permit that was later withdrawn. Bossman has also been recognized publicly for her leadership as a woman in the construction industry, including a 2022 tribute tied to her studies at MIT. Worth confirming directly: the company's own site describes 15 years in business, while its Better Business Bureau profile lists a 2019 start date (about seven years) — and it's worth asking about the withdrawn Revere permit before booking similar work.
