Ask the people who hire Boston Cleaning Collective what stuck with them and it usually isn't the floors. A customer writing this July, still taken aback at the house after a deep clean, noted that the crew fixed a broken mirror cabinet that wouldn't close — not the job they were booked for. That habit of poking at the thing next to the thing runs through four years of comments. The company works out of East Boston and describes itself as a worker-owned cooperative, launched in 2018 out of grassroots meetings among immigrant women and founded by Marina Maldonado and Noemy Aguilar, who serve as co-presidents; by its own account every member is a member-owner. Its site lists recurring and deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleans, post-construction cleanup, Airbnb turnovers, and commercial work. The written history is deep and, unusually, uninterrupted: 71 Google ratings averaging 5.0, and 46 reviews running from 2022 into 2026, nine of them in the past six months with nothing negative among them. Two kinds of jobs dominate. Deep cleans come up constantly — in a 2024 review a customer described the team lifting items out of kitchen cabinets and off bookshelves to clean underneath. So do move-outs: a customer in June wrote that they'd used the crew for two separate moves and got the security deposit back both times, and a 2024 reviewer described four cleaners turning a three-bedroom apartment around in a few hours. Regulars get the same faces. Customers name them — Marina and Leticia in a January 2026 review, Willber and Noemi in a June one covering several months of biweekly visits — and continuity is the reason several give for staying. A 2024 customer on a monthly schedule added that the crew shows up well-equipped and that online booking and payment keeps the whole thing running without back-and-forth. What's worth asking about is the end-of-visit check. In a 2023 review a customer spotted cobwebs left in one room and asked the team to come back for them; they did, and the reviewer's point was that raising it was easy. That is the closest thing to a complaint in four years of comments. The right call if you want a recurring household clean with the same people each visit, or a move-out clean with a deposit riding on it. Before booking, settle whether you're getting a standard or a deep clean and what that covers for your square footage — the two are separate services on their menu, and the reviews that describe the most detailed work are almost all deep cleans.
