The number that tells you most about Boston Premier Remodeling isn't the 5.0 rating — it's how often customers talk about money and how rarely they complain about it. Nick Marchewka has run the company since he started it in March 2013 and incorporated it that same month; it is registered at 2 Bay Path Lane in Southborough, and BBB has carried it as accredited with an A+ grade since 2019. The work is bathrooms and kitchens. A customer writing in July 2026 described a bathroom renovation where defective tiles turned up mid-job and Nick raised the problem himself before finding a fix. In March 2026 another homeowner said he communicated daily on progress and whenever the crew had questions. The two things this year's reviewers keep returning to are that he is reachable and that the schedule holds. Older accounts fill in how he prices. He bills time and materials, charging his cost on materials and a fee on the subcontractors he supervises. A client writing in January 2026 spelled that out: the four-week estimate for his carpentry crew came in almost exactly, and the total landed at less than half a competing bid from a better-known contractor. A January 2024 review described the same flat-daily-rate model, down to coordinating the painters and hardwood sub around the customer's movers so they didn't pay for an extra night's lodging. One thing to raise before signing: that same January 2026 client said the open-ended feel of time-and-materials made her nervous at the start. It worked out for her, but it means you are buying the estimate and the relationship rather than a fixed number — so get the hours estimate in writing and agree a checkpoint if it drifts. The licences are worth ten minutes of your own. BBB lists a home improvement contractor registration, 174517, expiring in February 2027, and a Department of Public Safety licence, CS-103919, expiring in April 2027; Houzz lists that same CS number. Those are the directories' records rather than confirmations, so check both with the state. The right call for a kitchen or bath where you want the owner on site instead of a project manager you never meet. The written accounts sit almost entirely on Houzz, so ask for a couple of references from jobs finished this year.
Boston Premier Remodeling did our bathroom renovation. Nick was fabulous to work with. His vendors were high quality and we were super happy with the end result, There were a few hiccups as there always is with a renovation, one that we had was defective tiles. Nick immediately brought this to our attention and helped us to find a solution. What we loved most about working with Nick was his responsiveness. Whenever we had a question. He was always reachable. Overall, a very pleasant experience start to finish.
We've worked with Nick and his team on several home updates, and they've been fantastic every time. They're professional, easy to work with, and keep us informed throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is excellent, I highly recommend!
Nick & his team completed our bathroom remodel. Nick communicated daily with us on the progress & when the team had questions. Beautiful work we are very happy with the completed job. The project was completed on time & the whole team was great to work with! Highly recommend
This was such a positive experience for my renovation. The work was outstanding with great attention to detail. Unlike previous experiences I have had, they stayed on time and there was great oversight by Nick with constant communication throughout the project. Highly recommend!!
Boston Premier Remodeling is fantastic! Nick and his team produce high quality work, are attentive to detail, strive for perfection, and are good human beings. After seeing them every day for a month, I was sorry to see them go! Nick, his carpenters, and his subcontractors are skilled craftspeople, and they are polite, honest, and straightforward to boot. Nick delivers on his promises, is clear about expectations and outcomes, is fair and reasonable in his pricing, schedules work efficiently (there was not a single wasted day during my project) and offers useful (and often money-saving) suggestions. I hired BPR to do a series of small renovations in a condo I bought in a historic building. Together, the small renovations added up to a complex project. Nick charges for projects based on time and materials, which at first made me nervous about what the total bill would be because it seemed so open-ended. However, he told me ahead of time that he thought his carpentry team would need to work on the job for 4 weeks, and that is almost precisely what ended up happening. There was an overage of a couple of days, but this was entirely due to changes I made to the work specs, or errors my designers made. For each of these hiccups Nick worked hard to make sure they could be dealt with effectively and efficiently, keeping the momentum of the project going. In the end, the total price he charged me for his team's work and that of the subcontractors he hired and supervised on my behalf was less than half the amount of the bid I received from a well-known and respected contractor recommended by my designer. More importantly, I couldn't be happier with the result. Every aspect of the project was completed perfectly, and the outcome was even better than I imagined it would be. Nick Marchewka and the entire Boston Premier Remodeling team are the best!
